Eat Denver

Colorado’s first brewpub, Wynkoop Brewing Company, was founded in 1988 by a group of urban pioneers led by Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper. The brewpub’s hallmarks—acclaimed small-batch beers, high-quality food and service, an expansive pool hall, and a glorious 1888 building—made the brewpub a major catalyst for the revival of Lower Downtown Denver. Wynkoop is now hand-canning and self-distributing its canned and kegged beers to Denver area’s best retailers, restaurants and bars.
